Faxorago ("we", "our", or "us") provides outbound telecommunication and cloud faxing services via our web platform (faxorago.com) and the Faxorago Quick Fax Chrome Extension. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data processed through our services.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
• Transmission Metadata: We process recipient phone numbers, sender IDs, page counts, delivery status updates, and timestamps to fulfill and record fax dispatches.
• Transmission Documents: Uploaded documents (PDFs, images) are temporarily stored in secure cloud storage solely to encode and dispatch transmissions across telephony networks.
• Payment Data: Payment details are processed directly by our payment processor (such as Stripe). We do not collect or store full credit card numbers on our servers.

3. Chrome Extension Data Usage

The Faxorago Quick Fax Chrome extension operates strictly within its single stated purpose:

• Context Menus: When you highlight text on a webpage and explicitly select "Send fax via Faxorago", only the highlighted phone digits are passed to pre-fill the transmission form. We do not read, scrape, or log any other website contents, browsing history, or keystrokes.
• Account Status: The extension connects to faxorago.com/api/user-summary.php using your active authenticated session cookie to retrieve your available credit balance and recent transmission statuses.
• No Tracking: The extension does not collect or transmit analytics, browsing history, or user tracking data to third parties.

4. Telecommunications & Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver fax messages over the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), metadata and document links are securely passed to our telecommunications transit providers (such as Telnyx) and encrypted cloud storage infrastructure (such as Backblaze B2). These third parties process data strictly to facilitate document transit and network signaling.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Transmission logs and metadata are stored in your account history until you delete them or close your account. Temporary document files generated during transmission staging are periodically purged from active transit storage.

6. Data Disclosures & No-Sale Commitment

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or transmission contents. We do not use user data for creditworthiness or advertising purposes.
